4/2/2017 0 Comments Anna-maria islandWhen I found out my family was traveling to Florida for Spring break I was ecstatic! Who doesn't love warm weather and sunshine! We stayed near Anna-Maria Island, South of Tampa. I have always loved Florida but every time I go I fall more in love. This Spring Break was a girls trip which made it even better. Just look how pretty! It was a long journey down there to say the least. It took us 22 hours! 22!! ahh. It was only supposed to take us 15 but we had to pull over and make quite a few pit stops! I drove on the highway for about 2 and a half hours which was a big deal then! ( I just received my temps in march) But the important thing is we made it there safely and also had time to see the sunset on the beach that night! The picture above was our first night seeing the sunset. It is crazy how beautiful it is. While in Florida we went to Siesta Keys, it is rated the number 1 beach in the World!! I will have to say the beach was super nice. The sand was like flour and it didn't stick to our skin which was Awesome! We spent the day there playing in the water and getting tan! Just kidding I don't tan at all :( Just get super red then straight back to being super pale. If you ever go to Florida and have the chance to go to Siesta I definitely recommend it. We also went to St. Peters beach which was also very nice. We got a hotel that night and we were able to spend the night right on the beach. The pool was very nice and warm. We went to Crabby Bills, a restaurant right on the ocean, I wouldn't recommend going there to say the least. haha it wasn't the nicest. Anyway the island was gorgeous and we had such a wonderful time. We stayed at The Dauphin inn, it was amazing hotel with great works, which were super friendly and everything was very clean! I am so extremely lucky I had this opportunity to travel with my family. I absolutely love traveling. We had so much fun and created many awesome memories that none of us will ever forget. Can't wait to visit Florida again!
