I love traveling so much, so when I found out I was able to go to Gatlinburg I was thrilled! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved it so much. It was incredible. We only stayed for 3 days but it was just the right amount of time. It was so hot it was almost unbearable to walk down the main "strip" during the day.
1. Take the trolly- We didn't realize the trolly was free until the second day, but it was a life saver. It was nice to be able to see all of downtown Gatlinburg without having to walk it. All of the trolly drivers were amazing and had great attitudes.
4.Ober- This is another MUST! This is an aerial tramway that gives you amazing views of gatlinburg. IT takes you up to an indoor mall and lots of indoor and outdoor activities. The top elevation it takes you to is 3,300 feet or 1,000 m. It will take you on a 2.1 mile ride up to the Amusement park! The prices were not bad- Adult $13. child (5-11) 10.50 BUT it is unlimited Round trip for 2 consecutive calendar Days! It doesn't include any of the attractions once you get to the top of the mountain though. Ski Mountain Coaster, Alpine Slide, Ice Skating, Senic Chair Lift, Water Raft Rides, Wildlife Encounter, Chair Swings, Amaze'n Maze, Arcade room, Mini Golf, Playground, and Carousel (depending on the weather).
5. Senic Chair Lift- This also is another MUST! If you end up going on the tramp up to the mountain. This is definitely worth the 7 dollars. It takes you even further up the mountain! They had a live band and little concession stand!
